ChromaFreq
ChromaFreq is an experimental listening instrument that translates sound into visible color, using real-time frequency analysis and wavelength mapping to explore the space between music, perception, and light.
How it works
Sound as visible structure
The analysis path is audio frequency -> mapped wavelength -> RGB/HEX color.
The selected color driver chooses whether that frequency comes from
the dominant FFT peak, the spectral centroid, or a weighted band
blend before the wavelength-to-RGB helper renders the result.
Spotify remains companion metadata only. It is not used as an audio analysis source, and protected streams are not recorded or decoded.
